Oysterflex, Oyster and Jubilee straps
The Cosmograph Daytona, with its turquoise lacquered dial and glossy black counters, is paired with an Oysterflex strap. Developed and patented by Rolex, this strap consists of two curved flexible metal sheets, one on each side of the strap, and is covered with black high-performance rubber injection molding on the outside.
The GMT-Master II, with its Tigerstone dial, is paired with an Oyster strap. This is a three-link metal strap that is sturdy and reliable and was launched in the late 1930s.
The Sky-Dweller, with its glossy green dial, is paired with a Julibee strap. This is a five-link metal strap that is flexible and comfortable and was designed and released by Rolex in 1945 for the Oyster Perpetual Datejust.
The Oysterflex strap of the Cosmograph Daytona and the Oyster strap of the GMT-Master II are both equipped with a folding Oysterlock to prevent the buckle from opening accidentally; while the commemorative strap of the Sky-Dweller is equipped with a folding Oysterclasp.
