This model is equipped with caliber 3235, a new-generation movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. After being certified as a chronometer by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute), Rolex re-cases it and tests it again. This is to ensure that, in everyday use, it meets Rolex's own standards of accuracy set to better than or equal to a certified chronometer. The final quality control of these assembled watches is carried out using methods and high-tech equipment specially developed by Rolex.
